Based on the Amharic lexicon, AxumLight is a revolutionary product that allows Ethiopian developers the freedom to program in their native language - and greatly simplifies the development process. It is a non-English programming language.
AxumLight is built and runs on the .NET framework. It uses Geez#, an Amharic-based programming language constructed to be as simple and efficient as other modern high-level programming languages, such as C#. Geez# is based upon the Amharic alphabet and uses Semitic-based “Geez” characters native to Ethiopian languages.
AxumLight runs on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7/8, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008.
