AxumLight Features

Code Editor

The AxumLight code editor supports both English and Amharic alphabets. The Geez# compiler is currently setup only for Amharic syntax, however future versions will also support Oromiffa and Tigrigna. The most commonly used menus and tool bars are displayed by default, yet they are easy to customize, so you can easily add or remove your favorite items.

Amharic Keywords

By using the Amharic lexicon and “Geez” keywords, which resemble everyday Amharic speech, the entire development process is greatly simplified for Ethiopian programmers.

Syntax Highlighting

With the code editor, you can easily manage specific lexical elements within the syntax by highlighting them using a variety of colors. This makes the code much more user-friendly and easy to read.

Navigation Aid

In order to achieve quick navigation of the code, lines are numbered and displayed flush-left. In addition, developers can set bookmarks and collapse and expand code regions.

Code Formatting

The code editor auto indents as you type, making the development process efficient and user-friendly. AxumLight includes partial IntelliSense support for most common in-built types.

Search

With AxumLight, you can conduct “word matching” or “regular expression” searches. Additional search functionality includes: “Find and Replace,” and “Go to Line Number.”

The code conversion tool translates Geez# code into C# for code manipulation.
